Singsu 30x42cm

Paintings Gallery

What is happening in this abstract painting? How do you interpret it? Do you see the gold circle as a sun, rising, perhaps, or setting? Is it nurturing?

This is a very minimalist abstract painting, in colours of soft caramel, soft brown, bluey/grey, and in addition to the gold circle, it has very fine gold highlights throughout the painting. The large amount of white negative space gives it an overall sense of tranquility, I feel, and the colours are clearer and brighter than perhaps the photos might suggest.

The painting is framed in a slim silver aluminium frame. It is also available to buy unframed, if you’d prefer. This is safer and easier to post, especially overseas.
